Lilita is a mental health project director for EDC’s Trauma Recovery, Mental Health Promotion, Violence Prevention Team, with extensive knowledge in school based mental health, social-emotional learning programming, and trauma-informed approaches.  Matison brings over 20 years of clinical and teaching expertise as an educational program director, trainer, curriculum designer, and former school social worker.  She authored a series of curricula, focused on self-regulation & mindfulness skills, the neurobiology of stress, and sensory strategies for emotional regulation.  Matison holds an MSW (Master of Social Work) from the University of Michigan.
