Throughout the year, we offer four types of events. Invites to these events are sent by email to SEB Academy participants. If you are an Academy participant, but have not received these invites, please contact us at sebacademy@edc.org.

In-person convenings

These events are held twice a year for all teams in the SEB Academy. During these events, teams can hear from experts on critical topics, speak with their coach about their progress, network with other school and district teams, and work with their own teams on items from their action plans.

Webinars

These events are open to schools and districts across Massachusetts who are interested in SEL, Sense of Belonging, and PBIS. During these events, we invite experts to speak about topics that our teams request.

Peer sharing calls

These calls bring together schools and districts across Massachusetts with similar interests and challenges to share ideas, ask questions, and strengthen networks across the Commonwealth. 
Each series includes three meetings on one specific topic. These meetings are scheduled at dates and times that suit the interested participants.

PBIS Focused Events

Teams focused on PBIS will also engage in three in-person PBIS trainings per year and monthly coaching calls. These additional professional development opportunities will teach the structure, processes, resources, and collaboration need\ed for school-wide implementation of PBIS. These trainings follow a set scope and sequence\ aligned with the National Center for PBIS.
