Kamilah Drummond-Forrester

Kamilah Drummond-Forrester is a nationally recognized thought leader, speaker, consultant and workshop presenter on connection between social and emotional learning (SEL), equity and anti-racism. She has written about these topics in the Women Change Worlds blog and has written several articles in esteemed educational publications such as EdSurge, The 74million, and the Hechinger Report . Kamilah is a board member of the state social and emotional learning advocacy organization, SEL4MA. She also served as the first board chair for the newly formed national organization, SEL Providers Association. In all of her roles, Kamilah is committed to educating others about the inextricable connections between SEL, social justice, and anti-racism. Kamilah has a BA from Brandeis University in Psychology and African American Studies. She also holds a Masters and Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS) in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from Assumption College.
