Emily Baton
Emily Baton is currently a second-year postdoctoral fellow with the Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Team at the May Institute in Massachusetts, where she primarily provides training, consultation, and technical assistance to schools on their PBIS implementation. Over the last ten years, Emily has been providing school and home-based services to children and young adults with developmental disabilities, school teams and families. She is passionate about improving family-school partnerships and enhancing behavioral support in educational settings. She facilitated focus groups and conducted research aimed at enhancing family-school partnerships within PBIS, demonstrating her commitment to fostering these vital connections between families, communities, and schools. Emily received a Ph.D. in Behavioral and Community Sciences from the University of South Florida and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral (BCBA-D). Emily is also endorsed by PBIS Apps as a School-Wide Information System (SWIS) facilitator.
