Erik Maki
Erik works for the May Institute as a clinical consultant in the Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and Consultation Program. In this role he provides training, technical assistance, and consultation to schools and districts focused on implementing PBIS at the individual, group, and systems levels. Erik has provided mental/behavioral health services for over 20 years in various settings, including residential treatment facilities, day and partial hospitalization programs, outpatient clinics, public and charter schools, and within a managed behavioral care organization. Erik earned his PhD in school psychology from UMass Boston. He is a Licensed Psychologist in Massachusetts as well as a Nationally Certified School Psychologist. Erik is also endorsed by Northeast Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (NEPBIS) as a PBIS trainer and by PBIS Apps as a School-Wide Information System (SWIS) facilitator.
