Marcie Handler

Dr. Marcie Handler is an Educational Consultant, Licensed Psychologist, and Doctoral level Board Certified Behavior Analyst. For the past 25 years, she has provided training and technical assistance to school and district teams in the implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS). Her expertise in Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) has been used to provide behavior support to individual students, classrooms, special education programs, and school systems in their efforts to promote positive social and emotional youth development. Previously, Marcie was responsible for the supervision, training, and clinical oversight of staff providing behavioral health support to educators and families of children with significant disabilities and mental health needs. She is particularly interested in using evidenced-based approaches to establish MTSS frameworks that integrate initiatives, build systems, and improve outcomes for students and adults. Marcie earned her B.A. in Psychology from Skidmore College and Ph.D. at Lehigh University, and has been an adjunct professor at Northeastern University.
